Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Truepick, the AI recruitment platform operated by Taqat ("Taqat", "we", "us"). By creating an account, booking a demo, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any organization you represent.

If you use Truepick as a candidate — for example to apply for a role, complete an assessment, or attend an AI interview — these Terms apply to you together with our Privacy Notice.

2. The service

Truepick helps hiring teams publish jobs, screen CVs, conduct AI-assisted interviews in Arabic and English, run assessments, and manage candidates from application through to offer.

We may add, change, or remove features as the platform evolves. Where a change materially reduces core functionality for paying customers, we will give reasonable advance notice.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the employer you represent.
• You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your workspace, including activity by team members you invite.

4. Employer responsibilities

• Use candidate data solely for recruitment purposes and in line with our Privacy Notice.
• Comply with the employment, anti-discrimination, and data-protection laws that apply to your hiring.
• Obtain any consents or provide any notices required from candidates in your jurisdiction.
• Do not configure roles, criteria, or prompts in a way that unlawfully discriminates against candidates.

5. Candidate use

• Truepick is free for candidates. You agree to provide truthful information in applications, assessments, and interviews.
• AI interview recordings, transcripts, and assessment responses are processed to evaluate your application, as described in the Privacy Notice.
• You may raise concerns about an outcome, or request human review, by contacting the employer you applied to.

6. AI features and human oversight

Truepick's AI produces scores, summaries, and recommendations as decision support — not decisions. Final hiring decisions rest with the employer's human team.

We design the platform for consistency — every candidate for a role gets the same questions and the same standards — but we do not guarantee any particular hiring outcome. Customers are responsible for keeping a human in the loop where the law requires it.

7. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, deceptive, or discriminatory use of the service.
• No reverse engineering, scraping, or automated access outside the documented APIs.
• No interfering with the security or integrity of the platform or other workspaces.
• No uploading content you have no right to share, or content that is malicious or infringing.
• No presenting AI-generated evaluations as human ones, or vice versa, to candidates or third parties.

8. Intellectual property

The platform, software, and Truepick branding belong to Taqat. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription.

You retain all rights in your data — job content, employer branding, and candidate submissions — which we process only to provide the service. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the product without obligation to you.

9. Fees and payment

• Paid plans are billed per the plan or order you agree to; fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.
• If an invoice remains unpaid after notice, we may suspend the workspace until payment is made.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed.

10. Term, suspension, and termination

Either party may terminate as set out in the applicable subscription. We may suspend access immediately where there is a material breach of these Terms or a security risk to the platform or its users.

On termination we provide a reasonable window to export your data, after which it is deleted in line with our retention practices and the Privacy Notice.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and AI outputs may contain inaccuracies — verify important results before relying on them.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and Taqat's total liability arising out of the service is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Taqat is registered, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute before pursuing formal proceedings.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify account owners by email or in the platform before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
