Interview settings

Meeting platform, working hours, durations, reminders and video interviewer.

Company-wide defaults for interviews, in five tabs. Press Save after changing them. Settings for an individual AI interview — language, number of questions, personality — are on each job.

Meeting

Default Meeting PlatformOptionalGoogle Meet · Microsoft Teams · Zoom · Custom Platform: Pre-selected when you schedule a face-to-face interview. If it is not connected, a Connect button takes you to Connections.
Custom Meeting Link TemplateOptional: For Custom Platform: your meeting URL with {id} where the meeting number goes, e.g. https://company.zoom.us/j/{id}.

Schedule

Time ZoneOptionalDefault Qatar: The time zone interview times are shown in.
Working HoursOptionalDefault Mon–Fri 09:00–17:00: Start and end time for each day, and a switch to turn days on or off. Copy Monday to All Days fills the week in one click.
Buffer Time Between InterviewsOptional0–120 minutes · default 15: Gap to leave between interviews.
Lunch BreakOptionalDefault 12:00–13:00: A daily break to keep free.

Duration

Default Interview DurationOptionalDefault 60 minutes: Pre-selected when scheduling.
Duration PresetsOptional1–10 presets · 15–300 minutes each: The lengths offered when scheduling. Remove one with its ×, add a common one, or type a custom length and click Add.

Reminders

Automated RemindersOptionalOn by default: Email reminders before scheduled interviews.
Reminder TimingsOptional24 hours · 1 hour · 15 minutes before: When reminders go out. Keep at least one.
Send to CandidatesOptional: Remind the candidate.
Send to InterviewersOptional: Remind your interviewers too.
Email NotificationsOptional: Email is always on — it is the main channel.

AI interview reminders are separate

Candidates invited to an AI interview always get one reminder 24 hours before their deadline, whatever is set here.

AI Interview

Video interviewer (avatar) shows candidates an animated interviewer instead of a voice-only one. It applies to interviews that start after you save. Only administrators can change it.
